waiting for the happy ending
Contrasts and inequalities, dreams and hopes for change are typical features of fairy tales. They convey the message that even the weak and oppressed have a chance and that the world does not have to remain as it is. In fairy tales, good always triumphs. In reality, it usually remains a matter of hope and dreams. My photographs from Switzerland and Germany are scenes from modern fairy tales in which the happy ending is a long time coming.
